Leyanys graduated in pharmacy in 1998 in Cuba from the “University of Havana.” When she arrived in Miami in 2003 she started as a pharmacy technician at “Sedanos Pharmacy and Discount” where she began to learn the entire pharmacy process. She helped fill prescriptions, process claims through insurance, and understand how to help the community. 

In 2006 she obtained her License from the Board of Pharmacy, and soon began her managerial career that lasted 15 years. As a community pharmacist, Leyanys strives to provide comfort and care to her patients by carefully dispensing treatments that could potentially save their lives. She is a very experienced team player who keeps patient well-being as a top priority at all times and goes above and beyond to ensure proper patient care.
